Who Am I?

I am a physiotherapist who has worked in paediatrics (therapy for children) for over 30 years. I received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BScPT) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Rehabilitation Medicine through the University of Alberta. Over the course of my career, I have worked with children within multiple settings - British Columbia Children's Hospital, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, community based early intervention, school based therapies and private practice. I have also worked as a lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.

I am passionate about helping parents support their child’s motor development so that their child’s potential can be maximized. I am extremely lucky to be doing something that I truly love, making it equivalent to PLAY for me.

I am also the mother of three active children who thoroughly enjoy living, playing and learning on the beautiful traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
